I’m not a regular there or at any other MGM property. And all of this just because I asked for suggestions to keep myself entertained. She even went out of her way to see if she could get me into a room early, and after she worked her magic I was in a beautiful room minutes later. Not only did she had phenomenal suggestions, but she made them all happen - including getting me a ticket for a sold out tour and arranging my transportation there so that I didn’t miss it. Shahnee was at the concierge desk and I decided to ask her if she had any ideas on how I could spend the few hours I had free. My flight arrived mid-morning, so my room wasn’t ready yet (totally fine) and I didn’t have any work obligations until early evening. I just wrapped up a stay at the MGM Grand Detroit for a work conference, and have to spotlight superstar concierge Shahnee for her incredible service.
